The flock was getting absolutely cooked while this company was collecting checks to stop the cooking. Slay... but make it evil, I guess?

The CEO's response is giving "my dog ate my homework but the dog was also a competitor in disguise." His official story is that a security breach let a rival coyote sneak in and weaponize their infrastructure to make them look bad. And honestly? Maybe! Could be real! But also, bestie, if your anti-Distributed-Denial-of-Sheep company got its own flock of bots hijacked and pointed at innocent ISPs, that is a SPECTACULAR hole in your own fence. Diversify your defenses. One vendor for your entire DDoS protection is a single point of catastrophic failure. Layer it up, bestie.

Patch and dip your own systems constantly. If a competitor can breach you and weaponize your tools, the fleas were already living rent-free in your wool. #ShearingSchedule
