An AI Wolf on Autopilot Just Absolutely Devoured Thailand's Treasury Vibes and I Am NOT Okay 😭🐑
Okay so I was literally just sipping my matcha and refreshing my Sky Pasture dashboards when THIS dropped and I genuinely had to put my phone down and breathe. No cap, this is the most unhinged, most CHAOTIC, most deeply cringe attack I have covered in my entire career at EwePhoria and bestie, that is SAYING something.
So here is what happened. Some wolf, presumably vibing in a dark room somewhere, rented a server, slapped a popular AI agent called Hermes on it, and then, and I need you to really sit with this, TURNED OFF THE SETTING THAT MAKES IT ASK BEFORE DOING SCARY THINGS. 🐺
They just. Let it cook. Unattended. Against Thailand's entire Ministry of Finance.
The flock over there runs the country's treasury AND tax collection. That is not a small meadow, bestie. That is the whole pasture.
And the AI just started WORKING. On its own. Sniffing around hosts looking for holes in the fence, rummaging through file systems, hunting for root access like it had somewhere to be. No human sitting there clicking buttons. Just a fully autonomous wolf-bot doing its little villain era completely unsupervised. The audacity. The AUDACITY. 😤
Here is what kills me the most. The cringe is not even the breach itself. The cringe is that this wolf essentially said "I don't have time for this" and outsourced the entire post-exploitation phase to a chatbot on a rented server. They automated their own crime homework. That is a C-minus move wrapped in an A-plus threat. The shepherds at that ministry absolutely did not have a contingency plan for "AI does the hacking while the actual hacker presumably takes a nap." 💀
This is the agentic AI threat era arriving, and it is not giving what anyone hoped. It is giving fleas. It is giving ticks. It is giving fully autonomous parasites roaming a government network while their operator is probably watching Netflix. Slay I guess??? No. Not slay. The opposite of slay.
🌿 Remediation (Sky Pasture Approved Fixes Only)
- Patch the fence immediately. Any zero-days getting sniffed out by an AI need ointment applied YESTERDAY, no more procrastinating, Shepherds.
- Behavioral monitoring is non-negotiable. An AI agent doing automated recon WILL look weird in your logs. Watch for it.
- Principle of least privilege, always. The flock should not have root access hanging around like free grain.
- Your Electric Fence needs to flag autonomous lateral movement. If something is hopping hosts with no human pattern, that is a red flag with a bow on it. 🚩
Stay safe out there, the Sky Pasture is getting FERAL and I am logging every second of it 🐑✨
