Do not wait for a crisis to find your negotiator. Selecting a third party while ticks are already in the wool is how you end up paying a consultant who is billing both you and the wolves.
Reinforce the Electric Fence now. Patching schedules, network segmentation, offline backups on actual physical media. Yes, tape. I said what I said.
Train the flock. Fake grain campaigns, mandatory awareness sessions, the whole regimen. Oblivious lambs are the entry point every single time.
The wolves are organized. The Shepherds are golfing. And apparently some of the negotiators are in prison now. Act accordingly.
